Writer's Block: Kids or child-free?

Whether you've chosen to have children or live child-free, how and when did you (or will you) reach this decision? If you're in a relationship, did you (or will you) decide separately or together?

i got knocked up at 15. i didn't really have a chance to consider my position. the irony is that i would have been childfree if not for the children, and i would have missed out on the best parts of my life. not that i am knocking anyone else's choice to be childfree, i just would not have considered it because, as a teenager ultimately i was a selfish little brat. children definitely tempered that in me (to a certain extent. touch my white chedder popcorn and i will pop YOU one) and made me much more patient, loving, caring, responsible, etc. and once they get out of the leaky, larval, disgusting stage they are pretty fun too.
I like them when they are larval. Maybe I would like them less when they are mine?
i do not like things with communication issues which basically sums up the entirety of babyhood. i like kids tho very much. its the talking i think.
I'm glad you had kids I didn't know you before kids but my guess is that they've changed you for the better. Kids have a way of helping adults learn to see life outside of themselves.
"they get out of the leaky, larval, disgusting stage they are pretty fun too."

How old are your kids? When does this stage commence? Simon is 6 years old and he's still disgusting. (Does poop talk ever end?)
my youngest is 10 and my oldest is 15. after awhile they quit leaking so much, but then they get musty and you have to instill daily decom showers. the poop talk never ends.
I want kids, M wants some.

we're working on the logistics, but right now ain't the time. I at least want a room for the child and right now, there's no room.

soon, I hope. Soon.
awe i think you will make a good dad! hopefully your timing sucks less than my timing did!
